For extreme minimalists who like to travel and live in compact spaces, Boston-based artist Jeff Smith has created the ‘Smallest House in the World.’ Taking miniature housing trend to another level, the 25-square-feet house on wheels can accommodate one person.
Although the house has no storage space, but includes a sink, a waste system, a stove and a shower to provide you basic home facilities. There are three circular windows on the tiny home for outside views. The designer has also added plants outside these small windows for lively appeal.
Designed to resemble the futuristic coffin, this minuscule home is not suitable for people prone to claustrophobia. But for those who would like to experience living in the world’s tiniest abode, it can be rented for US$55 per night through Airbnb.
With this smallest house in the world, the concepts of minimalism and small space living have been taken to extreme heights. To take a tour of this tiny home, you may watch Smith’s upcoming short film (given below), which features the world’s tiniest house. It even stars a fictional character named ‘Glen Bunsen’ who lives in this minimalist, smallest home.
