The Italian company Scavolini is well-known for its designer kitchens that are characterized by unusual details. This year at the Eurocucina event during the Milan Design Week 2018, the company will be exhibiting two of its new kitchen island designs dubbed Mia and Box Life. Both these kitchens are characterized by modern aesthetics, high functionality and innovative materials.
Mia Kitchen Island
The Mia kitchen island by the renowned Italian chef Carlo Cracco includes various high-tech features for a memorable kitchen experience. Its design even supports minimum wastage in order to stand with the ongoing trend of minimalism. This modern kitchen island has a mono-block with steel top and integrated cooking and washing areas, all surmounted by a suspended structure that also houses hood and dish drainer.
There are titanium steel doors with vertical satin finish and handles in titanium finish completing the overall appearance. Furthermore, the elegant boiserie equipped with specially designed accessories like food-heating lamp, wall-mounted bottle holder and tool-holder bars completes the design.
Scavolini wil also be showcasing its Box life Kitchen Island during the Milan Design Week 2018. Created by international design studio Rainlight and in collaboration with design and architecture firm HOK, it is a modular system that hides infinite functions within, and blends different living spaces at the same time to ensure maximum flexibility.
From hideaway cabinets and sliding worktop in kitchen to sliding systems in the living area and wardrobes in sleeping area; it provides homeowners full opportunity to furnish home interiors in an organized and functional way. This modular kitchen island is ideal for small spaces with minimum space for cooking, living and sleeping.
