Airthings Wave Mini is a smart home device that helps with measuring indoor air quality. Equipped with three air quality sensors (TVOC, temperature, and humidity) it is a much-needed product designed to work in a small space, like in a bedroom.

Airthings has added the new mold risk indication feature to its existing Wave Mini product line. Now, the smart indoor air quality monitor can help users detect the conducive conditions for mold growth so that the appropriate action can be taken in advance.

This new feature works through an Airthings-made algorithm that uses existing sensors and historical data to provide the likelihood of mold growth in an indoor space. It will help in mold damage prevention, which is a helpful feature especially for people with asthma, allergies, and sleep-related health problems.

In simple words, Airthings Wave Mini is a battery-powered, smart indoor air quality monitor that tracks airborne chemicals, humidity, temperature, and mold risk at home and offers homeowners useful insights to ensure optimal health and comfort.

Using the Airthings Wave Mini is easy – just place it on a flat surface using the stand or attach it to the wall using just one screw. Use the companion mobile app, or simply wave in front of the device to get a visual indication of air quality levels.

The air quality is indicated in color codes: Green for good; Yellow for fair; and Red indicating poor air quality. It can also be paired with other smart home products using Google Assistant and IFTTT.
