Hungarian Workshop has come up with one of the best upcycling ideas we’ve seen so far. Their stunning Bourbon Barrel Adirondack Chair has been made from old barrels used for aging the bourbon. Wouldn’t it wonderful to enjoy your bourbon while relaxing on this ‘bourbon barrel’ chair ?
The manufacturer has reclaimed the wooden casks from a Bluegrass distillery so that they can give life to old barrels’ staves. All thanks to the natural curve present in the staves, a perfect shape is provided to this comfortable chair that offers just the right support to your back and legs. The aged patina further gives the wood a finish that reminds us of how old it is while making each chair absolutely unique.
The chair has been made from American oak, stainless steel, bourbon barrel, and finished in rosewood oil. Each chair is carefully handcrafted to ensure that its unique and raw appearance is not lost due to excess of sanding or machining. These chairs are available with either a closed or an open style top.
