Israel and US-based tech startup Candle Touch has launched an app-enabled, real-fire, wax-based candle. Measuring 3 ¼ inches x 5 ¼ inches, it is touted as the world’s first smart candle that uses real-wax and Bluetooth to enable smartphone control. There is an integrated ignition mechanism so you can simply press a button to light up a real scented candle without matches or lighters. You need to be within sight of the smart candle to do so.

Each of these smart candles can burn for up to 40 hours and can be re-lit at any time. There is a built-in rechargeable battery to power the candle. Set up is simple – you just need to pair the candle with the app and it is ready to go. You can control ten smart candles at a time with the mobile app.

Replacing the wax refill is also easy – just unscrew the existing one and screw in the new one. The candle can be extinguished by putting on a cover on the top of the wax refill. For safety, the app reminds the user to extinguish the candle. There is also an LED indicator to show when it is ready for work.

The Candle Touch smart candle features natural coconut wax in nine different scents: Red Grapefruit, Wild Fig, White Tea & Ginger, Lime & Grapefruit, Guava & Red Currant, Black Amber & Oak, Amber & Clove, Avocado & Mint, Green Tea & Lemongrass.

It is a practical product only for those looking to add some luxurious style, warm glow, and technology into their homes.
