Built as a well-equipped home but sized like an RV to give freedom of transportation, the Drake from Land Ark RV comfortably accommodates up to six people with two lofts and a flex room. With just 357-square-foot of living space, it is a fantastic mobile home that doesn’t compromise on space, style and functionality.
It is designed by Brian and Joni Buzarde, who built a $50K tiny woody trailer back in 2011.
Sitting on a tri-axle trailer, this RVIA-certified RV is designed with a slanted roof and 14 windows for letting in enough natural light. The all-black corrugated metal exteriors give a sophisticated and contemporary touch while smooth wooden interiors, including the floor and walls make it appear much larger than it is. A vented mini-split HVAC, tankless water heater, electrical outlets, USB ports, and modern-day appliances are included for convenience.
The innovative design prevents snow and water accumulation, making it suitable for mountain climates. The floor, walls and roof are insulated with closed cell spray. There’s an extra layer of rigid insulation outside the walls and ceiling pine framing to ensure comfort and safety in all seasons. The 10-foot plus ceiling height is an absolute marvel of the Drake RV, creating an open and airy atmosphere.

Inside, there’s a cozy living room with a custom-built sofa with storage drawers underneath, fully-equipped kitchen, and a bathroom complete with bathtub, shower and one-piece toilet. Furthermore, there are two separate stairs leading to the loft bedrooms, perfect for a family with kids wanting to adopt a downsized lifestyle.
The Drake RV has enough space to contain all modern amenities that one looks for in a traditional home.
