This industrial style desk is the first from UK-based Brutal Design Studio. Featuring fiber-reinforced concrete and steel legs, it is a gigantic desk that would look like a sculpture whether placed in an office or in the workspace at home. We have, at Homecrux, featured a variety of concrete furniture units before, but this one is unique for its monolithic appearance.
Its giant legs are made from two concrete and steel structures, weighing a total of 250 kg (roughly 551 lbs). Each leg consists of a concrete block and inverted T shaped feet made by joining steel angle and flat bar using salvaged M28 bolts. The steel feet are further bolted into threaded inserts that are set into the underside of the concrete block during the casting process to create a strong structure.

Its top is a sheet of 10mm toughened glass that sits on silicone rubber pads. Aptly entitled Bunker Grade Concrete Desk, it is capable of adding unmatched industrial chic to any space.
