Scented candles have the ability to bring elegance into any home and thus become even more meaningful for celebrations. Looking into the current festive season when people will want more of such items, Swedish furniture giant IKEA has launched a new scented candle collection in collaboration with the European luxury brand BYREDO.

Dubbed OSYNLIG (Swedish for “invisible”), it is a limited-edition collection that comprises 13 scented candle fragrances. From cypress and fig to tobacco and honey, there are multiple choices to suit different needs.

All fragrances are divided into three categories: floral, woody and fresh. Each candle comes in a hard-wearing ceramic pot with a lid that can be re-used to store small things at home after the scent has finished. The ceramic pot is glazed with a blend of two colors representing the ingredients of the scented candle.

BYREDO is well-known for its high-end fragrances while IKEA for some affordable products. This new candle collection combines qualities of both the brands. These candles are created with the aim to let people enjoy luxurious scents at home in an affordable way, while not only adding a chic flair to space but also improving the environment with scents.
