At times you look at stuff and wonder “Gosh! I had it when I was a kid.” That’s the first thought that hit us when we saw this Star Wars X-Wing Bookcase Bed. It’s in no way surprising that a bookcase bed is themed on the epic supergalactic saga set somewhere in the future. The interesting thing about this kid’s bed (we presume it to be) is its design intricacy which is centered around both, comfort and visual pleasure.

The visual appeal of this Star Wars bed is impressive as the frame and headboard make one feel as if speeding through hyperspace. One can see the design cues adopted from T-65 X-wing Starfighter. There are laser cannons, torpedo launchers and R2D2 Astromech droid printed on the bed while the wings taking shape of the headboard and bed divider. The wings divide the bed into two separate compartments for a clever use of space.

For extra space requirements, there is a trundle which slides under the bed and comes with three removable dividers to offer a plenty of storage space.

The two sections of the bed can be put separately too if needed, but it will mar the look. All this Star Wars goodness comes at $488 if you want just one bed. The trundle version comes at $688.
