Fascinated by the idea of giving second life to old and useless things, Netherlands-based graphic designer and DIYer Gilbert de Rooij has been making and sharing upcycling ideas on his blog since 2013. One of his fascinating projects is the golf clubs lamp. As the name suggests, the lamp is made by upcycling old unused golf clubs.

Dubbed Loft&Light 57, this upcycled floor lamp comprises of MDF floor stand, wood, iron, and Nesquik chocolate powder container used as a yellow lampshade. It is adjustable and offers cozy warm illumination.

Taking inspiration from his childhood memories, Gilbert came up with the idea of interlocking the golf clubs with a metal swivel so that one golf club stays free, allowing it to be used to adjust the lampshade easily.
