Given how consistent Decathlon Tiny Homes has been in unveiling new dwellings, we shouldn’t be surprised by the fact that the Texas-based tiny house company has dropped its second model of the year. Dubbed Betty tiny house, the 28-foot-long mobile home draws its inspiration from the company’s renowned Athena model, following in the footsteps of Beach Haus and Blackstone, two other models in the Decathlon Tiny Homes catalog that share the same roots.

Alike the aforementioned dwellings, the Betty tiny house features a loft, kitchen, living room, bathroom, and main-floor bedroom, the latter of which is not clearly evident in pictures. Interestingly, unlike Beach Haus and Blackstone, both inspired by the Athena base model, Betty measures 4 feet less but doesn’t compromise on the interior space or comfort.

Much like the Destiny tiny house in the Decathlon’s catalog, the Betty tiny home boasts an F-wave roofing coupled with smart siding exterior. As is the case with most of its models, the design is accentuated with multiple windows, a pair of skylights, and an outswing exterior door. Inside, the interior walls are painted white, while the marble and kitchen walls are black-accented.

Taking a cue from the Lavande tiny house, Betty welcomes its residents into a bare, open living area that is deliberately left unfurnished, giving downsizers the freedom to style it as they see fit. Adjacent to it sits a private bedroom tucked behind a sliding door, anchored by a custom raised platform bed for two and thoughtfully finished with built-in storage and a minimal wardrobe.

The kitchen, while straightforward in design, makes good use of its generous footprint and comes equipped with essential appliances, including an induction cooktop and a refrigerator. The bathroom, meanwhile, packs a glass-enclosed shower, toilet, vanity, and washer/dryer combo, with a storage loft tucked neatly above it for good measure. There is no word on the price, but we expect the Betty tiny house to cost well above $80,000.
