Star Wars is one of my favorite franchises. Yes, there are some weak points, but you cannot argue about the solidity of the original trilogy. The Star Wars universe – and its fandom – has since spread much farther than we could have imagined possible, but that simply means we get more stories, and more collectibles, from the galaxies far, far away. Bringing a treat to the fans this holiday season, the 2025 LEGO Advent calendar lineup includes a Star Wars-themed set. While I may not be as thrilled to be back on Tatooine, especially in Babu Frik’s shop, I have to have any Star Wars collectibles.
Now available for purchase, the Star Wars set comes with C-3PO, Babu Frik, a Jawa in holiday attire, and much more. The set has eight buildable droids, including BB-8 dressed as a snowman with a top hat, R7-A7, BD-72, Scrap Battle Droid, and Super Battle Droid, and nine mini-builds, seven of them connecting to create Babu Frik’s workshop, allowing you to channel your inner droidsmith.
The mini builds include a workbench, chair, tool rack, shelves, box of extra parts, crane, and bucket. You even get to build a Jawa vehicle and a Christmas tree. Think of the possibilities with creative storytelling as you progress with each day.
With 263 pieces, this isn’t as impressive as the earlier released Death Star LEGO set at 9,023 pieces; however, it is a smidge bigger than the LEGO Disney Advent calendar with 253 pieces and much bigger than the LEGO City Advent Calendar 2025 with 183 pieces. Regardless, it is a fun way for a rebel or Stormtrooper to trudge their way to Christmas.

The buildable Advent calendar set features iconic Star Wars characters, which you can discover and build as you near the most wonderful time of the year. I am thrilled because there are extra droid parts, workshop equipment, and so many festive details marking this set to inspire imaginative play.
Since the small parts can be a choking hazard, the set is deemed fit for children above 3 years of age. But let’s face it, we may not be kids, but we sure love to play with LEGOs. The 2025 LEGO Star Wars Advent calendar is available in stores, on the official LEGO website, and on Amazon for $45. So while you mull over the choice, I am going to order mine from Amazon. May the Force be with you.
