Most homeowners gravitate toward multifunctional pieces like transforming beds, storage-friendly couches, and clever fitments designed to accommodate bedding, accessories, and everyday essentials when furnishing their spaces. One aspect that is often overlooked is storage for tech peripheries. Controllers, headsets, keyboards, and handheld consoles end up scattered across beds, desks, and tabletops, never quite having a space of their own. The 340 End Table, created by the design team at Arcanium, aims to change that.
Beautiful and functional, the 340 End Table is designed to sit beside a sofa, armchair, or bed. Measuring 27 inches long and eight inches wide, the 340 End Table helps eliminate tech clutter, courtesy of its modular storage system integrated into a soft-close drawer. Inside the drawer sits a powder-coated steel parametric grid that allows users to attach various anodized aluminum mounts tailored to specific devices. These attachments can hold items such as gaming controllers, a mouse, headphones, or even larger peripherals like mechanical keyboards and handheld gaming consoles.
The modular approach enables users to customize the interior layout depending on the devices they own. The system also incorporates cable routing channels that allow USB charging cables to pass neatly through the table and into each mount, ensuring devices can remain charged while stored. Magnetic clips help manage excess wiring and keep cables organized behind the grid.
The 340 End Table is designed with premium furniture aesthetics intended to blend into modern living spaces. The exterior features solid oak surfaces in high-touch areas, complemented by hardwood plywood with real wood veneer elsewhere. Buyers can choose from finishes such as natural oak, espresso oak, or black oak, with an optional solid walnut upgrade available for a more upscale look. The design maintains a minimalist style while still providing robust internal hardware.

According to the creators, the combination of refined wood finishes and engineered metal components allows the piece to function as a practical tech hub and a stylish living room table. The drawer is soft-close and comes with a built-in anti-tipping mechanism that deploys automatically, so nothing goes flying mid-reach. Beyond gaming gear, the table holds its own as everyday furniture. Books, remotes, and other non-tech items fit just as naturally.
The 340 End Table is currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter, where backers can reserve the product before retail release. The base package includes the table in a chosen oak finish, a steel grid in black or white, and three modular attachments, with optional upgrades such as a walnut finish available at additional cost. The planned retail price is set at $699, while an early-bird Kickstarter pledge of $569 offers a $130 discount.
