Tiny houses on wheels usually come with loft bedrooms to better utilize the ground floor space. However, more and more tiny home builders are forgoing lofts while adding main-floor bedrooms in well-thought layouts without compromising on style or comfort. Albeit longer than a typical compact dwelling, the Alfa tiny house by New Zealand-based manufacturer Cocoon Tiny Homes also opts for a luxurious single-level layout and features two bedrooms.

Built on a triple-axle trailer, the Alfa tiny house has a wide interior in a 39-foot-long structure. It has a striking black steel exterior that is perfectly contrasted by the white interior featuring a cavity wall with insulated battens. There are three glass door entrances to the house, making the interior bright and well-ventilated.

The main entrance is the large stacker doors that open into the open-plan living area and kitchen. The living room has a couch and a wood burner, keeping the space warm and cozy. On the other side, a well-equipped kitchen comes with a two-burner cooktop, a range hood, an oven, a slimline dishwasher, a refrigerator, and a pull-out pantry.

A breakfast bar is opposite the cooktop and has a hinged bench to extend the space. It also acts as a kitchen island, providing more countertops for meal preparation. Past the kitchen, the access to the bathroom is located in the galley leading to the first bedroom. The bathroom has a vanity sink, a full-size bathtub, a shower, a laundry setup, and linen storage.

The master bedroom is beyond the bathroom and can fit a king-size bed. It can also be equipped with wardrobes or built-ins around the bed. On the right side of the living room is the second bedroom of the Alfa tiny house. It can also fit a king-size bed, a wardrobe, and a study desk. Both bedrooms have stacker doors, providing direct access to the rooms while maintaining ventilation.

Priced at $179,000, the Alfa tiny house is on a slightly pricey side when it comes to tiny houses. However, if you have the buck to spare and want something unique, it is the right pick for you.

I really love this tiny house, I love the one’s that don’t have stairs in them, and definitely no composting toilet, but a four burner stove, microwave oven, dishwasher, lots of cabinets, a refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom and an island for extra food preparation and a door 🚪 that opens inside the house 🏠 not outside, and a walk in tub with a shower stall with a rain shower head and double vanity sink with heated hardwood floors and security screens on all of my windows..
