You know it’s peak CES when brands like LG, Hisense, TCL, and iFFALCON are all vying for the same lifestyle TV crown. For now, Samsung continues to hold that spot, largely due to the sustained success of its Frame TV. But the landscape is starting to change, and this time the new entrant is hard to overlook. One of the major announcements from CES 2026 was Amazon’s unveiling of its Ember Artline TV.

It’s a lifestyle TV made for displaying art, competing directly with Samsung’s The Frame and LG’s Gallery TV. The set features a 4K QLED panel that’s just 1.5 inches thin, allowing it to fit easily into nearly any living space. Ember Artline TV also comes with a glare-reducing matte display, which Amazon says, “is designed to make artwork and photos look their best.”

Similar to competing models like Samsung’s The Frame, Amazon’s art-focused TV comes with interchangeable bezels that attach magnetically. The company will offer 10 color options, ranging from natural wood to more colorful options, allowing owners to change the look even after purchase.

The Artline connects seamlessly with Amazon Photos and gives users access to 2,000 free art pieces for display, a key distinction from Samsung, which requires a subscription for unlimited access to its art store. There’s also a new AI feature that lets you upload four photos of the room where the TV is placed. The system then analyzes the space and suggests artwork that best matches your home’s décor.

The Ember Artline comes with built-in microphones, enabling voice control through Alexa+, Amazon’s AI-powered assistant. It also employs the company’s Omnisense technology to automatically turn on the TV’s ambient mode when someone enters the room and switch it off when the room is empty, helping to save energy.

The Amazon Ember Artline is slated for a global release in spring 2026, with prices starting at $900. While it comes in smaller sizes than Samsung’s Frame or Hisense’s Canvas TV, Amazon is clearly aiming to stand out on value by including the frame in the box.
