If you are a fan of Halloween decorations and larger-than-life Halloween displays, Ammon Smith is one name you should be familiar with. This custom builder from Salt Lake City, Utah, has been creating gigantic Halloween displays for nearly twelve years. Every time he unveils a new creation, locals swarm his place to see the impressive DIY work. This time, he has built a gigantic Ghostbusters display complete with Stay Puft marshmallow man and Slimer from the iconic movie.

What sets this display apart is the sheer size of the DIY. The setup crafted by Ammon is so large that it might extend beyond the roof, though that’s still uncertain. While the DIY is distinctive, it reminds us of a giant Halloween display our team covered a few weeks ago.

It is important to point out that the DIYer has not released any information regarding the DIY, so whether it breaks the roof, or is just poised on the roof is a bit unclear. The exact dimensions of the display are also unknown, but it’s certainly one of the largest we’ve encountered in years, including Halloween inflatables.

But even from the blurry pictures, you can discern certain details such as the Ghostbusters standing on a pergola-like structure above the entryway. The four Ghostbusters are trying to catch the Stay Puft marshmallow man on the roof with a proton stream.

“The Ghostbusters up, and the proton streams blasting today, among many other things. Sickness has me late as all of the af’s this year, but we’ll be rocking 100 percent tomorrow night or Friday night,” states Ammon.

The DIYer has also crafted the fire station look-alike that showcases the massive Slimer from the movie franchise, watching passersby. Visitors can enter the fire station through a red and white curtain under the classic no-ghost sign. We are awaiting more details and pictures from the DIYer regarding the size and other specifications.
