The process of cold coffee making at home is complex, involved, and time-consuming. By reducing the time, AstroBrew not only makes the process easier, but its compact design, measuring 4.5 x 13.2 x 10.2 inches, allows it to fit neatly in your bag and go wherever you need it.

According to the company’s claims, you can store up to 34 ounces (about 6 cups) of cold brew in the appliance and keep it ice-cold (at 32 degrees Fahrenheit) and fresh for up to a month, and that too without refrigeration or ice. While I like the cold retention and freshness part, consuming a month-old brew may not be such a good idea, no matter how fresh it feels.
As to how it works: AstroBrew doesn’t rely on pods and compressors to make your cup of Joe. It uses regular ground coffee, preferably medium ground. Instead of steeping them overnight, the machine uses a combination of pressure, turbulence, and recirculation to prepare the cold brew within 20 minutes.
AstroBrew features Snowdrop cooling technology, wherein it uses thermoelectric semiconductors to quickly and efficiently transfer heat out of the coffee. With the push of a button, you will get an ice-cold beverage without any ice. That really has won us coffee lovers, as ice would just dilute the brew. The no-pod design also promotes eco-friendly practice by forgoing the contribution to the coffee capsule waste.
