French tiny house builder Baluchon has unveiled its latest creation, the Avalon tiny house on wheels. Measuring 20 feet long, the tiny house is built on a double-axle trailer and boasts a sleek two-tone exterior of metal and wood. This contemporary tiny house features a semi-glass door leading to an open interior. The layout includes a functional kitchen and bathroom on the right and a cozy living area on the left.

The kitchen is equipped with a mini-fridge, cooktop, and ample cabinetry, with space for optional appliances like a mini-dishwasher or oven. A drop-down breakfast bar serves as a versatile dining or workspace, enhanced by a bright white interior and vibrant yellow cabinets. However, what impressed me the most here was the integration of two kitchen blocks for hosting kitchen essentials. One of the kitchen blocks is meant for hosting electronic items, while the other caters to meal preparation.

Adjacent to the kitchen is the small yet practical bathroom that offers a glass-enclosed shower, sink vanity, toilet, washing machine, and floating shelves for storage. Across the home, the living room features a sofa (likely convertible to a bed), a side table, a wall shelf, and a large window flooding the space with natural light. Similar windows brighten the kitchen and loft areas.

Speaking of the loft, it is accessible via a staircase without built-in storage. The loft houses a double mattress, a side table, a bookshelf cabinet, and a planter, with multiple windows creating a light, airy atmosphere.

Overall, the Avalon tiny house blends functionality, practicality, and modern aesthetics in a compact, mobile package. We are not familiar with the pricing at the moment; however, we estimate it to be around $80,000. Akin to other tiny homes, the Avalon tiny house relies on standard RV-style hookups for electric and water needs.
