Bitser Tiny House Utilizes Leftover Materials in Construction

The people Down Under have gotten a new sense of freedom and flexibility thanks to the tiny house industry. The downsized lifestyle has gained immense popularity in the region with numerous tiny house manufacturers leading the charge. New Zealand-based Build Tiny is a renowned tiny house builder with a knack for using surplus building materials to create astounding mobile dwellings. The Bitser tiny house is a result of such skill and precision and was born out of leftover building materials and spare tiny house components.

Measuring 20-foot-long, the Bitser tiny house is clad in a stunning black steel frame and vinyl cladding. Built on a double-axle trailer, the house sources power from a standard RV-style hookup, but is also equipped with solar compatibility.

The front glass doors open into a light-filled living room. It has a sofa with a nifty attachable swivel dining table and integrated storage. Opposite the sofa is more storage and a wall-mounted TV.

Past the living room is the kitchen of the Bitser. The kitchen comes equipped with a two-burner propane stove, stainless steel sink, an oven, a fridge, and a washing machine. There is a magnetic backsplash that can hold your ingredients in metal containers. It features overhead cabinets and under-counter storage. Opposite the cooking section is a home office area with a desk and seating for two, which can also be used for dining.

The bathroom of the Bitser tiny house is located next to the kitchen and is accessible through a sliding door. It comes with a composting toilet, a shower, and a sink.

The only bedroom of Bitser is accessible via the storage-integrated staircase opposite the kitchen. The stairs provide space for keeping a washing machine and a gas heater. Overhead, the loft bedroom comes with a king-size bed and more storage space. It has a lowered standing area to make it easy to stand upright, while a gaggle of windows pour in light and fresh air.

There is a storage ledge above the living area where you can place plants, books, and any number of things. This gorgeous tiny house on wheels is priced at $70,000, which given its attractive features is a fair bargain for urban nomads.
