Canadian company Bluesound, recognized for its high-resolution wireless multi-room speakers, has launched two new Dolby Atmos soundbars to cater to the growing demands of high-end home theater enthusiasts. The brand-new Bluesound PULSE CINEMA and PULSE CINEMA MINI soundbars combine immersive audio performance, clean low-profile design, and easy setup in two form factors designed to fit perfectly with any-sized TV.

Designed to work with 55-inch TVs and above, the PULSE CINEMA is a premium 3.2.2 Dolby Atmos soundbar featuring 16 speaker drivers, including a dedicated center channel, dual 4-inch woofers, and up-firing speakers. This 47-inch multi-room streaming soundbar delivers 500 watts of total system power. The result is a 3D soundstage that provides an immersive experience whether you are watching movies and playing games or listening to music with more details and realism.

On the other hand, the PULSE CINEMA MINI brings the same thoughtful design and acoustic engineering to smaller spaces and secondary TVs. It is a compact 33-inch soundbar with 280 watts of total system power, angled drivers, and dual 4-inch woofers.

Both models support HDMI eARC, optical, and analog inputs, and offer flexible placement options, including automatic DSP-powered orientation detection that eliminates the need for manual tuning when mounted on the wall. The soundbars also feature BluOS, Bluesound’s powerful multi-room audio platform, enabling wireless surround sound and integration with smart home control systems like Control4 and Crestron.

It supports more than 20 streaming services, including TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify, Amazon Music, Pandora, and Deezer along with playback of high-resolution formats up to 24-bit/192kHz. The BluOS Controller app, available on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows, makes it simple to browse, control, and enjoy music from anywhere in the home.

You can also pair the new PULSE CINEMA and PULSE CINEMA MINI with other Bluesound speakers and create a larger, multi-channel surround system with discrete front and rear channels. Pair the soundbars with the PULSE SUB+ subwoofer and one of Bluesound’s stereo solutions as rears to create an immersive wireless surround sound system, without the need for a traditional AV receiver or extensive cabling.

When comparing the Dolby Atmos capabilities of the soundbars, the Bluesound PULSE CINEMA features full Dolby Atmos decoding that uses real height speakers to create true 3D sound, whereas the smaller PULSE CINEMA MINI uses 2.1 channel Dolby Atmos processing with virtualized height effects that simulate the overhead sound digitally through regular speakers without physical height drivers. The Bluesound PULSE CINEMA and PULSE CINEMA MINI will be available for pre-order after September 24, 2025, with prices ranging between $999 and $1,499.
