In addition to the portable power stations, BLUETTI has brought a FridgePower backup system to CES. It is a dedicated backup power device created to keep refrigerators running during outages for a few days without missing a beat. Its compact form factor ensures you can place it over the fridge or wall-mounted alongside without it messing up your home aesthetics.
The power has gone out. You’re seated at your desk, working under a rechargeable bulb, completely engrossed in your presentation. Hours pass before you realize there’s no electricity, and you head straight to the fridge, where your insulin may be at risk, and the vegetables are starting to lose their freshness.
This scenario is easily avoidable with the FridgePower. It ensures your fridge and freezer keep working even when power has been gone for hours or days, preventing food spoilage and averting your medications and vaccines from compromising their potency.
The new BLUETTI FridgePower, which was announced first at IFA 2025, measures just 77 mm (3 inches) thick and weighs almost 155 g. It features a 2kWh battery capacity and 1,800W output to start with. This can be easily expanded to over 8kWh with up to three extra battery packs for four days of non-stop power. There is no support for solar power, but you may not need that until the power outage lasts for over a week.
In addition to backup, FridgePower supports UPS switching with <10ms transfer time. This mode prevents power interruption to the fridge or any other sensitive appliance or accessory you have it connected to. For instance, it is suitable for backing up routers, lights, and security cameras.
BLUETTI didn’t want this power system to be a brick sitting at home; it’s, therefore, designed for home automation and security as well. The FridgePower, to that accord, works with Alexa, Home Assistant, and Google Home, allowing smart control and automation of lights, appliances, and more.
It also allows full safety control via its dedicated BLUETTI app, where users can receive smart alerts for battery level, its power status, and also get extreme weather alerts so that it can charge before the time runs out. The FridgePower takes 105 minutes to fully charge and be ready.
