In Star Wars, we never actually get to see Darth Vader’s quarters. But I like to think that if he weren’t killed, he would opt for a tiny house in the present-day chaos. Thankfully, I have found a befitting micro-dwelling for our Lord of the Sith (yes, I am switching over to the Dark Side). The Dark Vader tiny house, designed by Poland’s Tiny Smart House, appears to be custom-built for Darth Vader himself. The 20-foot dwelling flaunts an all-black façade with a storage-packed interior with sleek black lines and under-lights.
While I don’t think the name or the look of Dark Vader has anything to do with Star Wars, the tiny house does possess that forceful impression of our once favorite apprentice. Based on a double-axle trailer, the mobile home is finished in black sheet metal, giving it a moody, dark appearance.
The interior is minimal with bleached Scandinavian spruce and a white ceiling. The dark vibe is carried throughout the interior with black accents. The double glass doors open into the living area, where a small sofa doubles as a sleeping station for one, a coffee table, and a side table. Certainly, this is designated for an occasional surprise guest.
Next up is the kitchen at the center of the home. Packed with storage, the kitchen fits a lot of shelves and cabinets. Vader would love to store some of his planet-destroying weapons in one of these cabinets, I am certain of that. I could so see him cooking eggs in this compact kitchen. This section packs a microwave, an induction cooktop, a fridge, and even a breakfast bar.
There is a full closet next to the kitchen, where Vader might keep his helmet when he is at home. Past this space is a bathroom behind a sliding door. It features a vanity sink, a walk-in shower, and a flushing toilet.
The lone bedroom is located in the loft above the bathroom. Similar to most loft bedrooms, it is compact with just a double bed with little headroom. Vader reaches the bed via a sliding ladder on rails. There is a small side table on top of the closet to keep nighttime essentials.
Although it seems designed for the worshippers of the Dark Side, I am certainly intrigued by the amount of windows pouring in natural light inside the house. The Dark Vader tiny house is currently selling in Poland. For details on pricing and availability, you can reach the builder directly.
