  • Piece of cardboard
  • Hot glue
  • Fairy lights and other decorative items of your choice

How to Make This No-Waste Wood Chip Christmas Tree

Collect the scarp and roll a piece of cardboard to make a stem. Then glue the rolled cardboard onto the surface of the wooden slab.

Next, start gluing the wood chips around the cardboard stem. Begin from the bottom up and add the larger pieces at the base.

Make sure the entire stem is covered with the chips to make the tree look fuller.
