Known for making waves with her problem-solving designs since her debut at Salone del Mobile a couple of years ago, Lotti Gostič is back with yet another project, promising to make your workspace more organized and sleek. The founder of Lotti Gostič Studio believes in designing things that thrive to find some answers to real-world problems and her latest project, the Duo pencil case works along the same lines.

Duo is a stationary case and holder that keeps up with your ever-evolving workspace and sits on the desk like a pretty minimalistic piece of art. The force behind designing Duo was the desire to eliminate the need for repacking and rearranging stationary, especially for creative people who work on the go.

Flaunting a sleek, cylindrical metal body, Duo offers convenient storage and protects your pens and pencils from getting damaged on the move. This works nicely for students, artists, architects, or designers who need their tools neatly organized and packed in an instant.

Paired with its minimalistic aesthetic, Duo provides flawless practicality and elegance for any workspace. It smoothly transforms from a protective pencil case to a standing stationary holder. While the case comes in a metal body and a marble accent on the lid, the stand has two versions: natural wood and marble. The Carrara and Nero Marquina marble accents bring a subtle sculptural quality to the simple stationary holder.

According to Gostič, “The wood option adds warmth and familiarity, while the marble variation introduces a luxurious, refined touch. This careful balance of materials creates a product that is not only functional but also visually striking.”

Lotti Gostič hopes to simplify daily routines with Duo and bring a sense of order to ever-changing workspaces. She is a firm believer in designing for others not just for yourself. She tries to incorporate some answers to real-world problems with her work, and Duo pencil case stands to do just that.
