The newly launched EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic is a powerful portable power station in a compact form suitable for avid campers and off-grid adventurers. It is a streamlined 1kWh portable power station built for those looking for high-output power without complexity and high cost. The brand sees it as an “easy entry point into high-performance portable energy.” By excluding battery expansion features, the brand aims to put more focus on core performance. The unit offers 1,800W rated output (3,600W surge) and 45-minute fast charging, features typically found in higher-end models.
Weighing 12.1kg, DELTA 3 Classic is one of the lightest full-power units from the series. Measuring 398 × 200 × 283 mm, it is compact enough to be carried in cars, campervans, and camping setups. It matches the 1024Wh capacity of the DELTA 2 model but upgrades the internal battery to automotive-grade LFP cells rated for 4,000 charge cycles, ensuring longer life. EcoFlow claims its 16-cell design uses 27 percent fewer cells per kWh, allowing the system to run cooler, last longer, and deliver greater stability.
With 1,800W rated output and 3,600W surge capacity, DELTA 3 Classic can run multiple appliances simultaneously, including portable refrigerators, induction cookers, and coffee machines. It can surge to 3,600W; its X-Boost technology powers high-draw appliances up to 2600W.
EcoFlow’s X-Stream fast charging technology allows it to charge from 0 to 80 percent in just 45 minutes via AC power. You can also charge it using solar power, a car, or a generator. Each unit has three 120V AC outlets, two USB-C ports (100W and 30W), one 18W USB-A port, and a dedicated XT60i input for 500W solar or car charging.

DELTA 3 Classic responds in just 10 milliseconds, making it suitable for sensitive devices like NAS systems and servers. Some features make it great for RV life. With a cell-to-chassis (CTC) structure, it is drop-resistant and can withstand off-road bumps during transport. Furthermore, the unit operates quietly below 30 dB under 600W loads, allowing you to use it overnight without disturbance.
The EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic also works with the EcoFlow app, allowing you to monitor energy usage and track solar generation in real time. According to T3, the unit also includes a Storm Guard Mode that automatically starts charging when extreme weather alerts are issued, helping users prepare in advance.
The DELTA 3 Classic is available now on EcoFlow’s official website and Amazon, with pricing starting from £449 (about $600).
