I have a SwitchBot S10, and there are a couple of things that I am not overly fond of. First is its size and design, which is neither compact nor stylish to look at. The second, and most important, is the deplorable smell it releases into my kitchen (or any room, for that matter) once the dirty water tank has been sitting there for a day or two. But that’s the case with almost every robovac. Well, not anymore because Eufy (an Anker sub-brand) has released an updated version of its Omni S2 robot vacuum that not only cleans your rooms but also leaves a pleasant fragrance behind.

Launched at CES 2026, the Eufy Omni S2 features three built-in air fresheners in the unit. Every time the vacuum operates, it emits a pleasant, fresh fragrance into the air. The company hasn’t revealed much detail about how it actually works, so we’ll have to wait for hands-on reviews.

It’s worth noting that the company isn’t charging anything for the initial fragrance refills; they come included with the unit. However, once they run out, you’ll need to order replacements for $30 from Eufy’s website or Amazon.

Besides its fragrance-dispensing capabilities, the vacuum does what it’s meant to do. As the brand claims, it reduces 99.99 percent of germs in its tank to eradicate odors once and for all. “The Omni S2 intelligently generates a solution that’s a blend of hypochlorous acid and ozone water in its tank, meaning it won’t smell,” Tom’s Guide points out.

Other highlights of the vacuum include its 100 AW suction, which allows homeowners to lift dirt, dust, and debris with ease. The robot also boasts excellent mopping capabilities and can even work on shag carpets up to about 2 inches in height. It features an 11.4-inch rolling mop that applies up to 15 N of downward pressure. There’s still no word on the accompanying MarsWalker accessory, but we expect the company to share those details in the coming days.

In other news, Anker has also released the Eufy Video Doorbell S4, Solar Wall Light Cam S4, and Eufy Smart Lock E40, all of which support Matter, Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings. All these devices, including the upgraded Omni S2, are slated for release at Home Depot, with preorders already available on the company’s official website.
