  • 1 pound of homemade or store-bought pizza dough
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Homemade or store-bought marinara sauce for serving

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or Silpat
  • Divide the dough into 10 equal balls. Roll each ball into an 8-inch rope, slightly larger on the ends
  • Arrange five breadsticks on each baking sheet, spacing them at least 2 inches apart
  • Cut a 1-inch slit on the ends of each breadstick using scissors, and gently stretch each cut piece apart to form the ends of the bones
  • Brush the breadsticks with the melted butter, then sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on them
  • Bake the breadsticks for about 15 minutes, remove them from the oven, and top them with the mozzarella cheese
  • Return the breadsticks to the oven for an additional five to seven minutes or until the cheese is melted
  • Take out the breadsticks from the oven and serve them warm with marinara sauce for dipping

Ingredients:

  • 18 large eggs
  • ½ c. mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons of mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of minced scallion or shallot
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • ½ tablespoon of hot red pepper sauce and Worcestershire sauce each
  • ¼ tablespoon of salt
  • 36 black olive slices
  • 1 pimiento or jarred roasted red pepper
  • 2 cans of black beans

Directions:

  • Take hard-cooked eggs and cut them in half crosswise on a slight diagonal. Remove the yolks, leaving the whites intact
  • Place yolks in a bowl; mash with mayonnaise, mustard, scallion, lemon juice, pepper sauce, Worcestershire, and salt until blended and becomes fairly smooth
  • Use two scoops of yolk mixture into small balls and position in hollows of whites to resemble eyeballs
  • Press an olive slice into the center of each yolk eyeball. Cut pimiento into very thin 2-inch-long strips for veins. Decorate eyeballs with bloodshot veins
  • Place beans on a platter to provide an anchor for the eggs, keeping them in place
  • Set eyeballs upright in beans
  • Cover and refrigerate up to six hours before serving

Ingredients:

  • ¾  c. all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 11/2 tablespoon plus ¼ tablespoon kosher salt
  • 11/22 c. (3 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons ice-cold water
  • 1/15- oz can pumpkin puree
  • ¼  c. packed dark brown sugar
  • ¾ tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ tablespoon ground ginger
  • ¼ tablespoon ground allspice
  • ¼ tablespoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 4 oz cream cheese, cut into small pieces
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 beaten egg, for brushing

Directions:

  • Combine the flour, granulated sugar, and half a tablespoon of salt in a food processor. Then beat the butter until the mixture resembles rough crumbs
  • Add vinegar and cold water, and mix the ingredients to the point that your dough becomes rough but smooth enough to hold when squeezed
  • It is time to make the filling. In a small saucepan, whip together the pumpkin, sugar, spices, and the remaining teaspoon of salt. Stir it on medium heat for 6-8 minutes. Then, pour the vanilla, cream cheese, egg yolks, and let it cool
  • Roll the dough and cut out twenty-eight pumpkin shapes, and stack them in a refrigerator. Then cut three slits vertically
  • Place a parchment-lined baking sheet and place the pumpkin mixture. Brush the border with egg and sandwich the filling with a scored pumpkin cut-out
  • Brush the tops of the hand pies with the remaining and bake until golden brown for 23 to 25 minutes

Monster Wraps

A scrumptious treat that will wrap you in spooky delight.

Ingredients:

  • Large spinach wraps
  • Favorite sandwich filling
  • Sliced cheddar cheese and nori (seaweed wraps), for hair and mouth
  • Sliced pimiento-stuffed olives, for eyes
  • Whole olives, for bolts
  • Cornichon pickles, whole for bolts, halved for eyebrows and nose

Directions:

  • Begin by filling each wrap with your desired sandwich filling and rolling it up. Add half cheese slices or nori and make cut-outs for hair in a triangular shape. Place on 1 half of the wrap and the remaining half into long strips for the mouth. Then take cornichons and cut them in half as well for eyebrows. A thin slice for the nose and make eyes from olive slices
  • For Frankenstein bolts, use toothpicks to secure cornichons and olives to either side of the wrap

Witch Finger Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 11/4 cups Confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1 Large egg
  • 1 tablespoon almond extract
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 5 to 6 drops green food coloring
  • 23/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pistachio
  • ¾ sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup cherry, strawberry, or raspberry jam

Directions:

  • In a large bowl, mix sugar and butter on medium speed until pale and fluffy. Then, add the egg and beat it thoroughly. Now, add almond extract, vanilla extract, and food coloring, and continue to beat
  • Next, whisk flour and salt in a bowl and give it a good mix. Add pistachio and cover the bowl with plastic wrap, and let it refrigerate for at least 30 minutes
  • For the next step, line 2 baking sheet with parchment. Then, remove one-quarter of the dough from the refrigerator and roll it into 12 to 13 balls. Once you are done, roll each ball between your palms to form a finger shape
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees, bake cookies until their edges are firm and tops are dry
  • Once they are cooked, gently lift off the almond fingernail. Now, cover the tips of fingers with a tiny dab of jam for a bloody look. Let the dish cool completely and enjoy with the fam

Dead Man Meatloaf

Each bite provides a forkful of witchful thinking.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup of chopped celery
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 pounds of lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup of seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 pitted black olive, cut in half
  • 1 cup of ketchup

Directions:

  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir the garlic, onion, and celery in the hot butter until the onion softens and turns translucent
  • Transfer the vegetables to a mixing bowl and allow them to cool to just warm
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place a sheet of aluminum foil onto a baking sheet and spray it with nonstick cooking spray
  • Crack the eggs into the mixing bowl with the vegetables and mix until the egg is smooth
  • Add the ground beef, Cajun seasoning, and breadcrumbs
  • Mix with your hands until the mixture is evenly blended
  • Form the meat mixture into the shape of a stick man
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes until no longer pink in the center
  • An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C)
  • Once done, place the olive halves onto the head for eyes and pour the ketchup onto the abdomen.
  • Return to the oven and bake for 10 more minutes
  • Serve with a plastic knife impaled in the abdomen for a perfect effect

Eyeballs

  • Slice string cheese about 1/4″ thick. Cut the olives in half lengthwise

  • vegetable oil, for the baking tray
  • 8 beef meatballs
  • 8 small seeded rolls, split

Direction:

  • 3 tablespoons natural peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 8 oz. ground pork
  • 12 oz. ramen or lo mein noodles
  • 3 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 small red chile, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups tatsoi or baby spinach
  • 2 scallions, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanuts, finely chopped, for serving

Directions:

  • In a bowl, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, chili oil, lime juice, honey, and five-spice
  • Then, in a large cast-iron skillet, heat canola oil. Toss pork into the skillet and cook for four minutes. Then, let it cook for 3 more minutes without stirring. Turn and cook again while stirring it more aggressively until crispy and browned.
  • While your pork is cooking, sprinkle some garlic, ginger, and red chile magic in a pan with the pork and cook it for 2 minutes.
  • Next, whisk remaining liquid into bowl with vinaigrette. Now, add noodles and pour more liquid if required. Then, add tatsoi and crispy pork. Top them with scallions and peanuts if desired

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3½ c. heavy cream
  • 15 oz. Canned pumpkin
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1½ tsp. ground cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp. ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. dark rum
  • 1 tsp. powdered gelatin
  • 3 oz. shaved dark chocolate

Directions:

  • Fill a large bowl halfway with ice water and set aside
  • Whisk the yolks, 3/4 cup with 2 tablespoons sugar, and 3/4 cup cream together in a medium saucepan
  • Heat while stirring continuously with a rubber spatula or wooden spoon over medium-low heat until thickened and the mixture coats the spatula
  • Transfer to a medium bowl and set over the ice bath. Stir to cool
  • Add pumpkin, vanilla, spices, and salt to the egg mixture
  • Stir 1 tablespoon rum and 1 teaspoon gelatin together in a small bowl
  • Heat the remaining tablespoon of rum and stir it into the gelatin mixture until dissolved
  • Gently whisk into the pumpkin mixture. Beat 1/2 cup cream to stiff peaks, and fold into the pumpkin mixture
  • Pour into a shallow dish, cover and chill until cold and thick enough to fall from a spoon in heavy dollops – about 8 hours or up to overnight
  • Beat the remaining cream and sugar to stiff peaks
  • Alternatively, layer the pumpkin mousse and whipped cream in a glass serving dish
  • Sprinkle the chocolate shavings between the top two layers. Serve chilled

  • 2 cups of granulated sugar
  • ¾ cups of water
  • ½ cup of liquid glucose/light corn syrup
  • A few drops of black gel food coloring
  • 6 Granny Smith apples or 12 small apples. Ensure apples are fresh and haven’t been waxed.

Directions:

  • Grease a piece of baking paper and place it on a tray/baking sheet
  • Insert bamboo skewers in all the apples and set aside
  • In a medium pot, combine the sugar, water, glucose/corn syrup, and food coloring, and stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture feels smooth when you rub it between your fingers
  • When the sugar has dissolved, turn the heat up and wash the sides of the pot down with a pastry brush dipped into clean water to prevent crystals from forming
  • Allow the caramel to boil until it reaches the hard crack stage (150°c/310°F on a candy thermometer)
  • Carefully dip the apples into the hot candy mixture and place on the baking paper to set and cool for approximately an hour before serving. You can serve them on top of gummy worms as well
