French company Ephrem has designed a compact wood-fired oven that stands out with its modern aesthetic and versatile functionality. The main highlight of the Flambeur 60 is the volcanic stone hearth, which provides high thermal inertia. Showcasing at 2026 Maison&Objet, the oven combines traditional masonry performance and modern, modular design in a floor-standing unit.
Designed for easy assembly, it needs no masonry work and can be fully installed in one day. It is part of a new generation of ovens designed for versatile outdoor cooking, including grilling, baking, simmering, and smoking.
Unlike many modern stainless steel pizza ovens, it features a hearth made entirely of Ardèche pozzolan (volcanic stone) that can store heat for over 24 hours even after the fire is out. This way, you will be able to achieve multiple successive baking sessions where you bake pizzas first, then bread, and finally slow-cook stews using the residual heat.
The Flambeur 60 features a closed fireplace that stores and releases heat better than steel wood-fired ovens. It is insulated with professional-grade mineral wool for better heating retention. The oven features a neo-industrial design with rounded corners, a two-tone powder-coated steel casing, and subtle colors.
The Flambeur wood-fired oven has two residential-use models: the Flambeur 90, featuring a 90cm cooking surface, is suitable for large tables, while the smaller Flambeur 60 model, designed for easy integration, has a 60cm cooking surface. According to the manufacturer, the Flambeur 60 wood-fired oven can cook one 33 cm pizza per batch and up to 20 pizzas per hour, while every heating cycle is able to bake up to three kilograms of bread.

Each Flambeur wood-fired oven is made in France using natural and locally sourced materials. You can choose from three color combinations, including Black/Manganese, Terracotta/Clay, and Khaki/Clay, to meet your needs.
There are also options for a garden base and a wheeled stand for mobility needs. Each Flambeur 60 unit measures H75 x W122 x D122 cm and weighs 522 kg. There is also a bigger Flambeur Pro 120 model to cater to professional needs.
