“The Gunyah name means ‘house, hut, shelter’ in the local aboriginal language. We build our houses on Birpai land, here in Port Macquarie, New South Wales,” states the Australian-based tiny house company. Tailored especially for guest stays, the tiny house is finished in termite-resistant timber frames, monument matte finish colorbond, and western red cedar feature cladding. Durable aluminum windows, with SP10 SmartGlass allow natural light to penetrate inside while the solid cypress pine flooring adds charm to the house.

Specifically designed for guest accommodation, the tiny house packs a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom inside. The interior is not very spacious, to be honest, but Häuslein has made the most of the small space by incorporating a full-size couch. For the guest’s amusement, there is a wall-mounted TV and Solid Cypress Pine bookshelf both above the couch.
Adjacent is the one-sided kitchen that offers decent storage. Featuring a breakfast bar, sink with high tap and clever in-sink drainer, two-burner gas stove, 124L bar fridge, modern black fixtures, and pine shelving; the kitchen is accoutered with almost every essential required for a high-end stay. Not to mention a bathroom that is accessed via a sliding bar door. The space features a toilet, shower, and a sink.

Nearby is the Cyprus pine ladder that leads to the loft of the Gunyah tiny house. Speaking of the loft, it functions as a typical bedroom. Featuring a double bed with a Velux Skylight window, the loft is cozy and light-filled. The tiny house sleeps up to four people and also features a deck and awning as an outdoor space for you to chill and make the most of your weekend getaway. Costing $98,450, the tiny house can either be used as a rental or a full-time house.
