About four months ago, I had a chat with Heather Fritz, Co-Founder of Fritz Tiny Homes, where she mentioned, “We are working on the rendering for the Halcyon Stay model.” Today here we are, with the announcement from the Edmonton-based tiny house company that Halcyon Stay (Halcyon 03) is up for grabs. Measuring 31 feet long (37’ with the covered deck option) and 10 feet wide, the tiny house is a successor to the Halcyon 01 and Halcyon 02 models and is loaded with jaw-dropping features.
The micro dwelling is finished in metal siding, and boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing you to bring your beautiful surroundings right into your tiny home. One feature that is very captivating and comes as an add-on is an ‘overhang deck’ or cantilevered deck. Here you can sit and sip your coffee.
Moving inside, the interior is accoutered with gorgeous furnishing starting with a sofa that adorns the spacious living room while a storage hutch with a front hall closet keeps your essentials. Nearby is the kitchen that features custom concrete countertops for cutting and chopping, while the cabinetry stores other cooking necessities. You can also spot a breakfast bar that can function as a workstation if required.
No kitchen is complete with a set of appliances, and Fritz Tiny House has added a refrigerator, oven, and cooktop to their Halcyon Stay kitchen setup. The tiny house also features an epic fireplace. “This state-of-the-art fireplace is integrated into our custom concrete, and we designed the home around it to be a showstopper you can see from everywhere,” states Fritz Tiny Homes.

Then we have the luxurious bathroom with a custom concrete sink, tub or shower (optional), and a toilet. Not to mention, a washer-dryer combo and laundry storage to stock detergent and stain remover bottles. Being a one-level model, it features a queen-size bed on a hydraulic lift for full storage space underneath.
“Whether you are looking for a vacation home, such as a cabin on a lake, or a cottage on the ocean, or you want to put a tiny home in your backyard as an income-generating vacation rental, this one is for you,” states Fritz Tiny Homes. While the company hails it as a tiny house that is best suited for shorter-term stays, I’d say it is befitting as a permanent house, too.
