Alongside re-issuing Alexander Girard’s famous Flower Table, Herman Miller has brought back the Nelson Basic Cabinet Series. Designed as a modular storage system by George Nelson in 1946, the line comprises six units that can be used separately or together according to the different requirements of living space. All the cabinets are suitable for those who want to start smaller and evolve later with the changing storage needs.

The Nelson Basic Cabinet Series is highlighted by minimalist mid-century designs, where the materials and techniques are the main highlights. With an option to choose from six pieces, you can create a storage system tailored to your particular needs.

The Nelson Basic Cabinet is a three-drawer storage unit that can be great for making your living room or home office clutter-free. There is also another model of Basic Cabinet with five drawers and a door to store more items.

Herman Miller has designed the Nelson Basic Console with open shelves, drawers, and doors that offer both hidden storage and space for displaying items. There is also a Credenza model that will help organize both, big and small objects while the Nelson Basic Media Unit can be a great storage solution for entertainment systems. Lastly, the collection includes a bedside table with both open shelves and a drawer, ideal for storage needs in bedrooms.
