Halloween is here; and people are in over-the-top spooky spirits. Some are busy making DIYs with their families while some are searching for recipes. While there are many options of cute and minimal Halloween display ideas, some people go all out. One such family in South Carolina has put on an elaborate display of a burning Halloween home. There are flames, there is smoke, yet not a real fire.
Sam Lee and Amanda Riggins Peden, a couple from Fountain Inn, South Carolina are already famous for their large, life-size, and realistic displays every year. This year is no exception. They decided to go overboard this year with their house fire display that looked too realistic for the neighbors or the passersby to ignore.
The realistic in-house fire display by the couple was so pragmatic that the neighbors called the Fountain Inn fire department out of concern. The fire department got three to four calls telling them the same story about the house on fire.
Fortunately, the couple had given a heads up to the fire department that there was nothing wrong and they were doing a Halloween fire display. Turns out, it was an opportunity for the department as well. The fire department filmed a fire safety video at the burning house to raise awareness on the emergency.

While such hyper-realistic displays can be quite fun for the people in the know, they can scare the hell out of those unaware. Regardless, it is safe to say that this South Carolina family loves Halloween so much that they are willing to risk the government department knocking at their doors. If you decide to go for something so scary, that actually gets people concerned for their and your own safety, be prepared for a fireman guest.
