We have featured a number of cheap and easy Ikea hacks before, and here we have another interesting project by Bence Fazekas. Finding his room slightly small for the Ikea’s MAGNARP floor lamp, he came with the idea of making a wall-mounted reading lamp with MAGNARP to emit a soft, warm light. The outcome is really awesome and probably a genius alternative for anyone who likes to read in the bed.

He used an Ikea’s FRACK mirror and a MAGNARP table lamp to make this accordion-style wall lamp. The DIYer started by extracting power cord out of the table lamp’s pipe and attaching the lamp to the FRACK. He drilled holes on the mirror’s fork and lamp’s pipe in order to secure them together and complete the reading light that is meticulously attached to the wall.
