Candleholders are a big part of Halloween decorations as you need something with which you can flaunt the eerie candles and keep them from tumbling over. I made this Jack-o’-lantern clay candleholder to suit my holiday décor. It is perfect if you want something handmade and adorably spooky. This air dry clay craft is easy to make and can be created for less than $15. Read on to know how you can replicate this at home.

Materials Needed:

  • Air dry clay
  • Craft wire
  • Wood skewer
  • Acrylic paint and brushes

Active Time: 25 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

How to Make Jack-o’-Lantern Clay Candleholder for Halloween

Divide and make three balls from air-dry clay.

Give them pumpkin shapes using threads or skewers.

Then carve out a big chunk from the one that’ll go on top. This is where you will place a candle. You size the candleholder depending on how big you want it to be.

Then stack the three pumpkin balls on top of each other and make sure to hold them in place with a piece of craft wire.

Next, paint everything orange with a bit of fall shades.

Now, all that’s left to do is to paint Jack-o’-lantern faces on them.
