CES 2026 is underway, and brands are leaving no stone unturned to make their presence felt. JMGO, a Chinese manufacturer known for its high-quality projectors, is drawing attention with the debut of its latest home entertainment offering, the O2S Ultra projector. First teased at CES 2025, the compact ultra-short-throw tri-laser projector is designed to deliver a premium big-screen experience in modern living spaces.

To put that into context, the O2S Ultra is built around a tri-laser projection system that produces true 4K visuals with rich colors and high brightness. Thanks to its ultra-short-throw design, the projector can display images up to 120 inches while being placed just inches away from the wall. This makes it suitable for everything from apartments to tiny houses, where traditional long-throw projectors are difficult to install.

In the press release, JMGO highlights its proprietary MALC 3.0 laser engine, which is engineered to improve color accuracy, contrast, and overall image consistency. The company claims the projector delivers vivid visuals that remain sharp and detailed across different lighting conditions, whether used for movies, TV shows, or gaming.

The O2S Ultra comes with Google TV built in, allowing users to access popular streaming platforms directly without connecting external devices. Other features include automatic keystone correction, autofocus, and screen alignment tools, which are included to simplify setup, making it accessible even for first-time projector users.

From an audio standpoint, the projector comes with integrated speakers designed to deliver clear and immersive sound. Not to mention, support for modern HDR formats that further enhance the viewing experience, helping the projector handle high-contrast scenes and detailed highlights more effectively.

As for design, the O2S Ultra features a compact and minimalist form factor that blends easily into contemporary interiors. Its small footprint and premium finish reflect JMGO’s push to make projectors a more practical alternative to large televisions. With the O2S Ultra on display at CES 2026, JMGO is strengthening its presence in the ultra-short-throw projector market and is certain to give Epson and HiSense a run for their money.

Contrary to its diminutive size, the projector may fetch you a mammoth investment, with a single unit priced at $2800. We are yet to receive a final confirmation on this.
