Italian brand Kartell mesmerized people at Salone del Mobile 2025 just like every year. Future Perspectives was the central theme of the brand’s 2025 exhibition, which means reinventing by transforming echoes of the past into timeless designs. It chose red as the main color for the exhibition, a tribute to the brand’s history, a symbol that connects collections over the years, and represents energy, passion, and elegance—emotions typically associated with Kartell.
The brand showcased its design approach for the future where it wanted products in an attractive graphic layout but also evoking Kartell’s values and character. Every piece in the exhibition was designed with the motive to blend tradition with innovation.

The newest addition to the AI-generated chair collection retains the original’s iconic lines but is even lighter without armrests. Available in fresh colors, the AI Lite chair‘s simplified design makes it even more accessible and dynamic. It is a modern and versatile chair that can adapt to various scenarios.
Belvedere by Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba
The Belvedere chair combines Viennese wickerwork with a recycled plastic frame to create lightweight contemporary furniture. The updated recycled plastic frame in place of aluminum from the earlier version adds a touch of sustainability to the design.

Trays is a versatile system of tables, trolleys, and shelves inspired by Japanese lacquered trays, now expanded with new heights, shapes, and colors.
