Whenever I decide to take a break from covering tiny houses, I stumble upon a brand-new mobile home that’s too good to pass up. This time, it comes from the foundry of Georgia-based builder Dragon Tiny Homes. Dubbed Kemi tiny house, the 20-foot Scandinavian-style dwelling comes poised on a double-axle trailer. It features a gabled roof and sleek black standing seam siding with wooden accenting that gives the it a modern yet timeless appeal.

The towable dwelling gains a significant amount of attention for its Scandinavian-style build, thanks to natural wood cladding that looks great and adds a cozy rustic vibe. Additionally, the dwelling contains picture windows that flood the space with natural light and offer stunning views of the surroundings.

Access to the interior is gained via a glass door. Inside, the Kemi tiny house features a living room, kitchen, and bathroom. The living room is quite spacious and features a beautiful rug carefully placed at the center. “A small storage loft above the main living area will be expanded in future models to fit a queen-size bed,” mentions the company.

The primary reason why makers haven’t accoutered the living room with too much furnishing is the fact they want the home to be versatile for their clients. So, whoever buys the dwelling can either use it as their permanent home or put it on Airbnb for rental to earn some cash. If required, the living room is capacious enough to fit a sofa and a table.

Adjacent to the living room is the sleeping area of the tiny house. It has a queen-size bed, LED wall sconces, and plenty of room to move around. On the opposite side is the kitchen which is well-equipped with black granite countertops and sleek black cabinets that offer plenty of storage.

The kitchen includes upper cabinets that not only offer extra storage space but also ensure that everything stays neat and organized. There isn’t any mention of fancy appliances other than dual-burner stove but the maker has made room for the dwellers to equip these electronic items with ease.

At the back of the house is a bathroom that includes a standard flush toilet, a large shower with black walls and a shower, and a compact wall-mounted sink. There is also a small loft above the bathroom that can either be used to house essentials or utilized as a secondary bedroom, if required.

The Kemi tiny house maintains an optimal temperature with propane-powered heating and an air-conditioning unit. It also has water tanks and is wired up for a standard RV-style hookup. Currently priced at $50K, the Kemi tiny house is perfect if you are looking for a secondary income source.
