Or you walk into the bedroom, open your closet and the light inside glows – such could be the future of home automation with Shanghai-based Company’s light stick, a LED light with built-in motion sensors. The LED light feature human body detection, so as a person moves close to the light it an automatically light up (though, we aren’t sure how close you have to be to the light for it to glow). Priced at ¥ 999 (approx. $3), the light stick measures 15mm (depth) × 30mm (width) 230 mm (thickness) and weighs in a 45 grams.

Powered by three AAA batteries, the LED light stick features passive infrared sensors and 4 LED lights. The light can be used in variety of settings including, kitchen, living room or closets. The light comes with Velcro which helps the light to be mounted on the wall or wood panels in the cupboard etc.
