Armchairs are great furniture pieces to add luxury to any space. They not only offer a functional aspect but a luxuriously aesthetical one as well. The Lepal armchair – born out of a collaboration between Arper, an international voice in design, and British design firm Doshi Levien – is designed to combine form and function in a low-lying structure, which makes it a perfect reading chair.

The Lepal armchair blurs the boundary of function with its chic and versatile geometric design adding character to your home’s interior. Adapting a solid homogenous style, the chair’s hard shell and soft-cushioned seat provide extra lumbar support which helps in proper sitting posture.

Crafted as a sustainable product, the chair’s upholstery and internal modules can be reused as they can be fully disassembled to use in a new product. Adding visual appeal and elegance, the Lepal’s low-lying seat paired with the high, curved back gives privacy and a moment of relaxation any time during the busy day with its perfect proportions.

Its high-curved back joins the padded cushioned seat before finally resting on the sturdy angled base. Options for single or bi-material upholstery are available in wood or metal base which is further powder-coated. The FSC-certified Lepal armchair is elegant enough to work in public and private settings. You can lounge on the chair while sipping coffee, reading a book, or just relaxing. The chair is set to be showcased at Milan’s Salone Del Mobile 2024.
