New Zealand-based builder Cocoon Tiny Homes has mastered the art of creating luxurious micro-dwellings that in no way feel compact. The Lotus tiny house epitomizes the unique style and craftsmanship of the manufacturer with a sophisticated interior in a mammoth 32-foot-long structure. The tiny house on wheels bears the typical Kiwi black exterior and emphasizes a beautiful flow between the indoors and outdoors thanks to the large tri-fold doors and giant windows.

Inside the two-story Lotus tiny house, a spacious kitchen takes the center space with a moveable island serving as both a prep station and dining table. On one side of the kitchen, a big bathroom complete with a laundry room and closets is located while the other houses a lounge section.

The L-shaped kitchen has custom countertops, an on-bench pantry, custom cabinets, a refrigerator, a two-burner cooktop, a range hood, a sink, an oven, a dishwasher, and open shelves. Equipped with modern appliances, the cooking space allows you to whip up quick and lavish meals for large parties.

On the left, the living room is a versatile space that can be used as a home office, dining room, or bedroom. It can fit a king-size bed or a convertible sofa bed, along with a couple of chairs, and a coffee table.

On the other end, the bathroom is designed sophisticatedly. It is divided into two sections. One makes room for a washer/dryer unit and big closets and cubbies tucked underneath the staircase. The main bathroom has a glass shower cabin, a toilet tucked behind a pocket door within the space, vanity sink, which gives it a spa-like layout.

Outside the bathroom, a staircase with a handrail leads to the second level of the house. A large walkway connects the two lofts. One is completely cordoned off via a wall, giving much-needed privacy that is oft missing in tiny houses. This loft has a 3-foot bump-out and acts as a master bedroom. Offering standing height, the bedroom has a king-size bed flanked by wall-mounted shelves.

The second loft is smaller in comparison and has a roped railing to offer fall protection. It can fit a queen-size bed with a handful of other furnishings such as bookcases and a study table. This loft is perfect to be used as a guest room, playroom, or home office.

The spacious Lotus tiny house can be your home for $141,500. If you want to build it yourself, you can acquire its shell for $67,000.
