Denmark-based Lyngdorf Audio has expanded its loudspeaker portfolio with the new SB-75, which combines the benefits of two audio formats in one unit. It delivers the audio performance of two high-end loudspeakers in a discreet on-wall soundbar form. Lyngdorf has omitted internal amplification to distinguish it from standard active soundbars. This design approach also helps achieve a bass-filled sonic sound in a slim profile.

This passive stereo soundbar is aimed primarily at audiophiles who have amplifiers at home. By giving users the option to connect external amplifiers, this soundbar can evolve. You do not need to replace the soundbar; instead, you only need to upgrade the external amplifier to access the latest features.

Lyngdorf Audio has integrated high-performance driver units in a shallow MDF cabinet with a detachable fabric grille. The internally braced and closed MDF cabinet is tuned for close-to-wall placement that promises deeper bass.

Each unit has four 6.5-inch/18 cm long-throw woofers equipped with die-cast baskets, large magnets, and light aluminum cones for the low end and two 1.1-inch / 28 mm soft dome tweeters for high frequencies. It offers a maximum output of 250W per channel, which is possible only with an external amplifier. The SB-75 features two separate pairs of binding posts (left and right), allowing it to function like two independent high-end speakers.

The Lyngdorf SB-75 is designed to be wall-mounted; therefore, it comes with an integrated wall mount bracket. It measures 168W x 20H x 11D cm and weighs 28 kg, about 62 lbs, and sits perfectly below 75 or 77-inch TVs. You can also order custom widths to align with a different screen size TV at home. The soundbar comes standard in matte black finish, but you can customize colors to match your interior decor.

Unveiled for the first time at ISE 2026 in Barcelona, Spain, the production of the Lyngdorf Audio SB-75 will begin in April 2026, and shipping is expected to start in late spring for Europe. It will be introduced in North America in late summer.
