I’ve been covering tiny houses for quite a long time and come across all sorts of micro dwellings. Over the years, I have seen mobile habitats that range from 19 feet to 55 feet long and cost anything between $10K and $300K. Having seen an array of mini homes, it’s quite rare that a tiny house leaves me flabbergasted, and if it does, the dwelling is worth all my attention. Recently, while scouring the internet, I crossed paths with the DIY Magenta tiny house plan.

In a world, where everyone wants a finished model, there are folks who love to DIY their own home. Czech Republic-based design firm Pin-Up Houses which sells floor plans of all kinds cashed on this desire and put out the DIY Magenta Tiny House floor plan for sale. The company charges $79 for the tiny house floor plan which also includes the details of the material and tools required to DIY this house.

The maker claims that the house can be made for a minimal amount of $2,500. So, if you are good with tools and know a little about construction, all you need to do is spend $2,500 on materials and $79 on the floor plan, and you can build your dream tiny house.

Small in size and big on functionality, the tiny house measures 11 feet long and 6 feet wide. It boasts a magenta timber exterior, and is firmly poised on a flat single-axle trailer. The build also comprises heat-insulated wooden panels that help maintain an optimal temperature. The timber exterior packs a living room that doubles as a sleeping space, kitchenette, bathroom, and a myriad of storage options inside.

The living room occupies most of the floor space and comes equipped with a wood-burning stove. The DIY Magenta tiny house is furnished with a storage-integrated sofa bed, and a small table and chairs. Despite being pretty small in size, the micro dwelling manages to squeeze a kitchen that features a sink with a water tank hooked up, a camping stove, and some storage space. Not to mention, a net that suspends from the ceiling and functions as an additional storage space.
