Marmi Serafini, the Italian brand specializing in marble and natural stone bath products, revealed some of its new products including the Vulcan wall-mounted washbasin from its New ‘18 collection at the Salone del Mobile 2018.

The completely rectangular marble washbasin with flat surfaces, concealed fixtures, and rounded edges appears floating in mid-air. There’s a small irregular crack with protruding ends in the center of the superficial top surface, serving as a completely unique washbowl.

Made of Black Belgian marble, it is a timeless classic that serves its function while also snugly fits into every bathroom layout with minimal style and stone-inspired veins. The trademark crack at the top not only houses the drainage system but also renders a completely unique look.

In case you are concerned about the remaining water that falls off the crack, the slightly-sloped top surface ensures to direct it to the perimeter drainage channel.

The washbasin has so deceptive design that it appears like a glossy shelf at first sight. Unlike most washbasins, the Vulcan plays with placement and shape of washbowl thanks to the build material and manufacturing technique that makes it a great choice for opulent bathrooms.

Other than Vulcan, the New ‘18 collection includes Abyss and Float washbasins.
