Outdoor cooking has been gaining fans for the past couple of years, with many brands foraying into the untapped industry. German manufacturer of high-end appliances, Miele, decided to explore the outdoor kitchen market during the IFA 2025 by launching its “Dreams” range, which provides customizable modules and smart grilling functionalities. The highlight of this new series is the Fire Pro IQ, a smart gas grill that automatically regulates temperature in the grilling zones and even follows grilling steps in your chosen recipes.

The Fire Pro IQ allows you to grill steaks and vegetables to perfection, come rain or wind. This outdoor gas grill makes the experience more precise and fun. While part of something new and different, the smart grill does have many familiar functions as Miele’s indoor appliances.

The grill heats up to a desired temperature within minutes at the touch of a button and regulates the heat to the four grilling zones automatically, similar to an oven. To optimize its functionality in windy conditions, there is a special knob light that indicates the burner status: yellow for on and white for off.

You can even control the Fire Pro IQ grill remotely via the linked Miele app or send commands for recipes from CookAssist recipes to the grill, making the entire process smart and smooth. The Fire Pro IQ can grill entire recipes autonomously, offering perfect results with no uncertainty around temperatures and cooking time. This allows you to simply put in the necessary commands and mingle with people rather than sweat over the grill, although you would still have to flip the burgers yourself.

According to Miele, the Dreams outdoor kitchen range can be configured in different sizes to better suit your available space. There are several modules available to fit various appliances, including gas grills and even the company’s first outdoor refrigerator.

There is no word on the US launch of these products as of yet. The pricing is still under wraps, but the company has said that the Dreams range will be available in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland from spring 2026.
