Scrolling through my Instagram feed today, I found the cutest cat bed ever. The best part is that it features Leonardo da Vinci’s wildly famous painting Mona Lisa. Aptly named the Mona Lisa cat bed, this feline furniture by Wyoming-based PawsLove features a wooden bed frame that includes the oil painting as its backdrop. What’s so special about that? Well, it is designed in a way that when your cat sits in the bed, it appears as though it is being held by the mildly bemused lady.

Measuring 20 inches high, 17 inches long, and 12 inches deep, the cat bed has a prism-inspired design made out of wood. The material offers a sturdy construct that is perfect for playful felines to rest.

The replica of the Mona Lisa oil painting adds a touch of opulence to the cat furniture. It blends classic art with feline luxury. Serving as a background or decorative element, the painting is also removable and can be replaced with any other artwork. This is an interesting aspect for me as it would keep things fresh for the beholder and the cat.

Mona Lisa cat bed has two functions: it has a replaceable corrugated cardboard scratcher inside the lounging space and can be set up as a cozy bed. It is the perfect nest for cats weighing up to 50 lbs. If I were to use this for my cat, I would find a way to attach the cat scratcher on the exterior side and leave the inside for just snuggling in.

The cat bed comes framed in a vintage-style wooden structure, further enhancing its appeal. Its reasonable opening and detachable elements make it easy to clean and maintain. The bed is also available on Amazon for $50, but I am doubtful about the authenticity of the listing. However, PawsLove is offering this unique pet furniture for $97 and that’s on a 52 percent discount, so you better hurry.

You can set it up anywhere in the house without worrying about it looking tacky or unattractive, because who doesn’t love the Mona Lisa?
