The Nebula division of Chinese electronics brand Anker is already famous for its Capsule and Mars portable projectors. Expanding its offerings, the company has recently launched the new Nebula Cosmos series of smart entertainment projectors.
There are two different projectors – Nebula Cosmos and Nebula Cosmos Max. The Cosmos Max is a 4K projector, while Cosmos offers 1080p resolution.
It is probably the only difference between the two (other is the price of course), the rest of the features are the same. Both projectors include an LED bulb instead of a traditional UHP lamp to deliver long-lasting visuals.
One uniqueness of the Cosmos Max to highlight is the Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) technology. It automatically detects non-HDR content (old DVDs, videos, and live TV broadcasts) and upscales it in real-time for better viewing experience. Both the projectors are currently being crowd-funded on Kickstarter.
