In Fuorisalone 2014 in Milan, Hangar Design Group had unveiled one-of-a-kind ceramic travel mug called One-o-One. What makes this travel mug unique is its design pattern that’s inspired by Taipei skyline that’s dotted with skyscrapers. Designed for Taiwanese brand Acera, now this mug has been awarded with the Red Dot Design Award: Best of the Best 2016 at a ceremony that took place on 4th July 2016 in Essen, Germany.
One-o-One is totally worthy of the honor, as its contemporary design offers certain health benefits. This is because it’s handcrafted from ceramic enriched with tourmaline powder and comes with a wooded lid. These natural materials won’t let any toxic substance accumulate in the beverage inside the mug. Hence, makes your drink absolutely healthy for consumption.
Coming back to its design, the pattern on the mug celebrates high-flying Taipei’s skyline. Even the name of the mug ‘One-o-One’ is after Taipei’s 101 acronym, which held the title of the world’s tallest building for many years, before the advent of Burj Khalifa.
Upholding its travel mug credentials, the One-o-One is a perfect travel accessory for modern day nomads, who often have to travel on regular basis for work. Available in four colors such as turquoise, optical white, pitch black and stone blue, the travel mug is priced at €75 (approx. US $83).
