Langston commissioned the team of Australia-based builder LJM Tiny Homes to bring his vision to life Rasa Mahal tiny house, named after his wife Rasa. The framing of this tiny house is finished in timber along with blackbutt timber for the rafters. The colorbond profile in surfmit color for the cladding adds a bit of cottage charm.
High-quality double-glazed joineries have been used for the windows and doors. These add to the overall profile and keep the interior bathed in natural light. The interior looks inviting with aesthetic wooden beams on the ceiling.
It is also well-insulated and air-conditioned, making the house more efficient. However, what makes the difference are the VJ panels, vinyl flooring in the herringbone pattern, green, gold, and white color combination, and the lighting features.
When you enter the house, a spacious living room greets you. It features a plush sofa, windows, and a large door that brings in the views of the outdoors. The kitchen has galley-style countertops, a gold accent sink and fittings, ample cabinets, and drawers to store various essentials. There are also appliances such as a cooktop, a microwave, and a toaster. A picture window in the kitchen adds a dreamy touch to the space.

Adjacent is Bryce and Rasa’s walkthrough bathroom with the most outstanding feature, an illuminated resin basin, and the matching halo mirror. There is a shower and alectura composting toilet, enriching the space with functionality.
The bathroom leads to the bedroom. It is bright thanks to a separate entrance and window. It has a king-size bed with storage space underneath, cabinetry, and hooks for hanging clothes. With the help of a brilliant team of builders and Bryce and Rasa’s vision, the Rasa Mahal tiny house came into being.
