If you have been following Homecrux, you might have observed that we have started making reels about these micro-dwellings as well. Sweet and short, these Instagram reels are not just entertaining but informative as well. Recently, Texas-based tiny house builder Decathlon Tiny Homes appreciated our efforts and said, “Thanks for this sweet reel of our 28ft Athena named Belle and we love the music.” We’ve been overwhelmed by the responses we receive from makers and of course, from the readers. This breathes new energy into our team to continue scouring new tiny homes for you. The recent mobile habitat that caught our attention is the Ruben tiny house on wheels by Decathlon.

Measuring 24 feet long, the Ruben tiny home is based on a double-axle trailer and features a metal and wooden exterior. It is accoutered by windows on all sides for ventilation. Not to mention, a loft skylight that allows light inside. Then we have a glass door adding to the brightness inside the dwelling.

Moving on to core features, the tiny house consists of a living room, kitchen, loft bedroom, and bathroom. Visitors enter directly into the living room which can be filled with a sofa and a table. The white walls of the living room help keep the space brighter. These white walls blend perfectly with the red cabinets and furnishing and add aesthetics to the space.

Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen. It features a countertop, cabinets, shelves, and a sink alongside a range of electric appliances including an oven, microwave, and a refrigerator. A small walkway leads to the bathroom that features a separate washer/dryer, toilet, sink, shower, and vanity. A storage-integrated staircase leads to the sole bedroom of the house.

Functioning as a typical low-ceiling loft, the bedroom sleeps two people. The Ruben tiny house appears to be a cozy and functional dwelling that’s best suited for singles. For more information on pricing and customization, you can contact the builder.
