Modular seating is always playful and fun while providing a personalized experience. In 2014, Georgia-based manufacturing company Sandler Seating introduced its Montbel furniture collection, which was designed to make the experience more free-flowing. Designed by Italian studio Gherardi, the Montbel collection offers seating options that can mix and match to create various configurations. Since then, the furniture brand has expanded the collection many times, the latest addition bringing three new series to the table, so to speak. The new additions are named Flow, Nala, and Daisy.
The Montbel collection feels refreshing with its break from the basic geometric forms. Each piece offers exceptional creative freedom with curved shapes. The free-flowing and irregularly shaped sofas and seats can either be paired together or used individually to enjoy fashionable lounging.
The Flow series of the collection features 12 components that give you the freedom to create combinations according to your comfort. The larger circular seat has a straight edge, making it stand alone as a statement piece. The seats are made of plywood frames along with variable-density foam. A long and fixed backrest is available for a streamlined look. You can also opt for a smaller and triangular movable backrest.
The Nala series features a layered ottoman that can be either dressed up or dressed down. The dressing feature looks great when the upholstery is made from mixed materials. You can also add a leather or any other fabric handle to the ottoman. The raised edges add a chic look while also giving the final touches.

The third series, Daisy, features cylindrical seats that are designed to complement the modular sofa arrangements well. There are two versions, out of which one features a short quilted backrest, while the other versions have no back. Both versions are compact and suitable for all surroundings.
All the new series, Flow, Nala, and Daisy, can be customized with upholstery and color options. The free-flowing seats blend seamlessly into the surroundings, creating a chic layout. The trio of seating arrangements is particularly appealing to the hospitality sector, where chic perches and lounges are encouraged. Check out the entire Montbel collection at Sandler Seating.
